By request, it's high time that we caught up with this ABC series by David E. Kelley (based on C.J. Box's 2013 novel The Highway), with a visit to the kidnapping storyline that runs through the first six episodes. 

Our damsel heroines are two road-tripping sisters played by Natalie Alyn Lind and Jade Pettyjohn, and a transfeminine sex worker played by Jesse James Keitel. Our bad guys are—spoiler alert!—a "long haul trucker with mommy issues and corrupt cop who dabble in sex trafficking on the side," to quote a certain Brian's Page reviewer.
