Many were in service of one of our front-page features: our monthlong celebration of The Avengers (which will be wrapping up next week), a guided tour through the first season of the Mexican action series La Negociadora, and a birthday tribute to Keri Russell. There was plenty of room for more birthday-related fun, including Reese Witherspoon in Best Laid Plans, Michelle Monaghan in Mission: Impossible III, and Elizabeth Mitchell in The Purge: Election Year.
